Our Story
Our Story
Joshua and Bailey met in high school during Mr. Edwards' class. Bailey had just transferred, and Joshua was intrigued when he overheard her referring to herself in a quirky third person during a conversation.
"I am the person identical to Bailey," she said.
"Well, I am the person identical to Joshua!" he not-so-wittingly replied.
They bonded over being nerds that day. They didn't become good friends, though, until senior year when they became founding members of a fraternity focused on Quality, Unity, Accountability, Dedication, and Service, or QUADs for short. After graduation, they stayed in touch over the years.
Over a decade later, after reconnecting, their strictly platonic relationship produced a spark that was never there before. That summer, they went on many dates, attended numerous events, and performed countless sweet gestures. One memorable moment was when Joshua returned from a Christmas trip to find Bailey had transformed her living room into a winter wonderland with a romcom ready, matching pajamas, Josh's favorite hot beverage, food, and treats. This marked the official start of their romantic relationship.
Joshua knew he was in love because he only wanted to be with Bailey, often saying, "Bailey or Bust."
Bailey knew she was in love because she found herself excited to go to sleep just so she could wake up to see Josh's smile on their daily morning FaceTime calls (which Josh bought an iPhone just to have).
Joshua's proposal was a long-planned surprise during a Valentine's week photoshoot. Bailey turned around to find him on one knee with a ring especially designed for her.
"Bailey, will you do me the honor of being my bride?" he inquired.
"YES!" she cried.
She was later surprised by a celebration with friends and family who flew in just for them.
Bailey and Joshua bond over a shared love for good design in everything from apps to home decor. They look forward to traveling, designing, creating a beautiful life together, and building something that can last for generations to come.
